Meet Dr. Steven Anderson
After proudly serving the East Cobb and Woodstock communities for 23 years, Dr. Steven Anderson sold Anderson Dental and now provides personalized, concierge-style dentistry in East Cobb. In addition to caring for his private patients, he shares his time and dental expertise serving youth in Georgia's Regional Youth Detention Centers throughout metro Atlanta and North Georgia.
Dentistry is Dr. Anderson's second career. After working as a computer science executive and founding startup companies, he chose a profession that allowed him to spend more time with his growing family while pursuing his passion for helping others. He earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) from the University of Louisville School of Dentistry, one of the nation's leading dental schools.
In 2005, Dr. Anderson opened his own practice and later designed and built a 9,000-square-foot professional building in Woodstock, where he and his team provided comprehensive dental care for more than two decades.
Dr. Anderson believes exceptional dentistry begins with listening, accurate diagnosis, and taking the time to provide personalized care.

His philosophy centers on prevention, comprehensive examinations, and early diagnosis. He believes many dental problems—and their associated costs—can be avoided through careful evaluation and timely treatment. Patients appreciate his thorough approach, advanced diagnostic techniques, and commitment to explaining treatment options clearly and honestly.
Today, Dr. Anderson's concierge private practice offers a relaxed, modern setting where patients receive individualized attention from an experienced team. Working alongside his wife, Shelley, who has more than 25 years of dental assisting experience, he provides comprehensive care for patients of all ages—from toddlers to centenarians.
In addition to preventive and restorative dentistry, Dr. Anderson performs advanced procedures including wisdom tooth extractions, dental implant placement, sinus lift surgery, and clear aligner orthodontics.
Outside the office, Dr. Anderson and Shelley enjoy traveling to visit their five sons, eight grandchildren, and extended family in South Georgia and California.
